Operation and Maintenance of Mini Hydro Power Plants



The Zimbabwe National Water Authority (ZINWA) wishes to enter into a Joint Venture with selected registered companies with a minimum of 5 years experience in the design and installation of mini hydro power stations for the feasibility study, design, engineering, manufacture, quality assurance testing, supply,transportation to site, installation, testing, commissioning, operation and maintenance of mini hydro power plants at I R selected dam sites. 2. The power generated from the selected darn sites is a cleaner renewable energy source that can be used in the following instances:
a)  As an alternative power source and supplementary power requirement for the operation of ZINWA dams,

c)  To reduce dependence on imported power and fuels.
3. Bidders should demonstrate their experience. financial and technical capability to develop, install and operate mini hydro power plants
