Procurement board gives clean slate to SGR tender case
The Public Procurement Administrative Review Board expelled a petition against a key contract. The construction of the Sh327 billion ($3.7 billion) standard guage railway line (SGR) between Mombasa and Nairobi is likely to get back on track.

The provision of consultancy services for design review and construction supervision on the SGR project is being questioned. As one of the bidders, Team Engineering SPA, questioned the award of the tender to TSDI (The Third Railway Survey and Design Institute Group Corporation) which led to a dispute.
