Renaissance
Services has awarded construction contracts award costing $150mn (OR75mn) to
four local contractors to carry out the first stage of a project to
facilitate accommodation for workers in the Duqm Special Economic Zone
(SEZAD).
The company selected PWA and Centre
Point Engineering to undertake the design work for a Permanent
Accommodation for Contractors facility arrangement of up to 16,000 beds
for workers, last year.
Seven firms got shortlisted out of total fourteen firms submitted bids for different aspects.
Later on the firm recruited Deebaj for
excavation and earthworks and an International Piling Experts/Geosol
joint venture to bring out the piling. It has since finished 1,100 of
