The
United States Advanced Battery Consortium LLC (USABC), a cooperative
authority regulated by Chrysler Group, Ford Motor Co. and General
Motors, has awarded a $7.7 million advanced battery technology
development contract award for electric vehicle (EV) applications to Envia
Systems situated in Newark, California.
The competitively bid contract award is
co-financed by the U.S Departement of Energy (DOE) and holds a 50 per
