An amount of one lakh crore will be granted with an ambition of smart cities. This plan was approved by the municipal bodies, state government and the Centre, of course. One hundred cities were selected for accomplishing this plan. According to the estimation of central government, a whopping of Rs. 4 lakh crore of funds will be infused chiefly via private loans and investments from multilateral institutions among various other service  sources.
