A
Colas Rail/Morgan Sindall joint venture (JV) has been awarded a £20
million project from Network Rail to refurbish the historic roof spans
one to three at Paddington station.
The contract award awarded is part of a Multi
Asset Framework Agreement (MAFA), which is expected to commence at the
end of July, will include steelwork strengthening and repairs to the
historic wrought iron structure and decorative scrolls of roof spans one
to three.
The lighting system will be modified and the polycarbonate roof lights replaced, while the span is being refurbished.
