Petroleos
Mexicanos, Mexican state-owned energy giant has awarded a contract award to
construct a division of the Los Ramones natural gas pipeline to the OAT
consortium comprised of Brazilian engineering group Odebrecht, Mexican
construction company Arendal and Italian-Argentine group Techint.
According to Pemex, the contract was
awarded after a strenuous examining to assure the required technical
expertise and capacity to modernize the Los Ramones Phase II North
project in a time bound and appropriate manner.
The company recollected that Tag Norte,
whose shareholders are Tag Pipelines (an entity of Pemex Gas y
Petroquimica Basica, the oil giant’s gas and basic petrochemicals
subsidiary), Gasoductos de Chihuahua and PMI Holdings, is subjected for
