The
U.S. Department of Treasury has awarded Arlington-based Accenture
Federal Services (AFS) a five-year, $48 million contract for IT and
financial management services throughout the Department's bureaus and
offices to enhance technologies and other service levels.
The scope of work includes IT strategy,
technology recommendations, acquisition support, systems security,
financial systems, project and program management, enterprise
architecture and development and support services. The firm will also
update and perform the Treasury’s IT strategy, aiming on cutting down
