FutureCard bags RTA contract to provide NoI cards

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has awarded a contract award to the smart card manufacturer FutureCard for the supply of nine million NoI smart cards.

The company was chosen out of five vendors for the supply of RFID fare cards which can be used to pay for travel of the metro, buses, water buses and paid parking other services facilitated by the RTA.
