FortisBC
Energy Inc. is collaborating with the Canadian unit of U.S construction
company, Bechtel Canada Co. to help extend its Liquefied Natural Gas
(LPG) facility in the Lower Mainland.
To match up the increased market tender
requirement for LNG, FortisBC is investing $400 million to extend its
Tilbury LNG facility, functional since 1971, which will add up around
1.1 million gigajoules of LNG repository as well as around 34,000
