LTA awards $1.32 billion contracts for Thomson Line

Land Transport Authority (LTA) has awarded the final three of 25 major civil contracts award for Thomson Line's Orchard, Marina South and Gardens by the Bay stations and tunnels at US$1.32 billion.

According to the LTA’s Deputy Chief Executive, Mr Chua Chong Kheng - An overall cost of about $7.77 billion has been awarded by LTA in all the 25 major civil contracts for Thomson Line, with the award of these last three civil contracts. tender Construction works for Thomson Line are presently in full motion and the line is set to open in phases between 2019 and 2021.
