Lockheed
Martin has been awarded by the Metropolitan Police other Service (MPS) a
contract worth £90 million to reinstate its command and control system.
As per the contract award the company will
execute the first ‘major refresh’ of the Met’s commmand and control
system in three decades. Capita and KPMG will work in corporation with
Lockheed Martin on the contract, which could run for up to 17 years.
The MPS' existing command and control
system is presently facilitated by Unisys via a contract scheduled to
expire in October 2015.
Software engineers positioned in
Lockheed Martin’s London office will operate to integrate the functions
necessary to facilitate the MPS with an up-to-date command and control
system.Read complete story at http://www.tendersontime.com/blog-detail/lockheed-martin-secures-pound90-million-met-police-contractnbsp-234.php
