Saipem lands on $850 million worth of contracts in Asia, Africa and Latin America

A number of new drilling contracts worth around $850 million has been secured by Saipem in Indonesia, Nigeria, the Arabian Gulf and Latin America, out of which $540 million are associated to offshore activity and refer to four different units of Saipem’s fleet.

Saipem has inked with Eni Muara Bakau B.V. a contract award for the usage of the Scarabeo 7 which will be functioning offshore Indonesia drilling a minimum of 12 wells; the project is likely to be done in first quarter 2017. The vessel will stay under contract with Eni until February 2018.
