Babcock initiates work under small boat service contract

Babcock has started repair and maintenance work on the small boat fleet support contract, awarded by the UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) in June. The contract came into effect in July, which covers small boats used by the Royal Marines, Royal Navy, British Army and MoD Police.

The three year contract will engage Babcock execute repair and maintenance other services, and undertake spares furnishing and post design services which could involve modification work, and storage. The fleet comprises over 800 inflatables, five dive boats, ten Mexeflotes (landing raft/pontoons), and Gibraltar region police and patrol boats.Read complete story at http://www.tendersontime.com/blog-detail/babcock-initiates-work-under-small-boat-service-contract-243.php
