An
industry leader in secure identity solutions, XTec Incorporated has
been awarded a 10-year contract award worth $102.8 million by the Department
of Homeland Security. The award substantiate XTec’s position as the
dominant provider of solutions that satisfy Homeland Security
Presidential Directive-12 and reflect the Federal Identity, Credential,
and Access Management roadmap.
All DHS Components can apply effective
identity and access management controls, promoting safe access to DHS
applications and resources encouraging enterprise FICAM implementation,
with XTec’s Enterprise AuthentX 5 Suite. The first stage of the project,
which starts immediately and permit for constant issuance and
maintenance of PIV credentials applied all across the nation for
physical and logical access control. The next phases will extend the use
of credentials to improve authentication and interoperability for other
