Oman-based
Al Hassan Engineering Co has secured a $68 million contract for
construction and civil works for Sohar refinery improvement project (SRIP).
The Daelim-Petrofac SRIP (joint venture)
awarded the letter of intent to Al Hassan Engineering Co for
construction and pre-commissioning of civil and underground piping works
for the Sohar refinery improvement project.
According to the company, the
approximated value of the contract award goes to $68 million. The work is
likely to be done by April 2016. The company expect to make equitable
