Despite of the several campaigners that claim that the price of the train tickets are increasing three times than the wages and the other services are deteriorating, an increase in the rail fares are about to take place. From January, the rail fares are expected to rise by one percent. The decision was taken soon after the announcement of the retail prices index inflation figure as it is responsible for determining regulated train fares for the coming year.
