Information And Communication Technology Agency Of Sri Lanka has Requested for Expressions of Interest for Text Content Development: Development of Descriptive Text content for Heritage sites, buildings, monuments, other structures and cultural events in the Polonnaruwa and Galle Districts. Information and Communication Technology Agency of Sri Lanka (ICIA) is empowered to implement ICI' development strategies and programmes, in both the government and private sectors, including Legal & Policy reforms in Sri Lanka. The agency functions under the direct purview of the Ministry of "telecommunication and Digital Infrastructure.

ICTA has initiate’s-Heritage Project' as part of its social empowerment component, to introduce cutting-edge technology for storage and dissemination of information on cultural heritage of Sri Lanka. The aim of the Heritage Project is to improve knowledge and satisfaction of tourists on Sri Lankan Heritage sites and enhance Sri Lanka's image as an effective Heritage 'Iburism Destination. The project facilitates for creating access to information on Heritage sites through developing comprehensive digital heritage framework that includes mobile applications and digital content warehouse.

ICTA requires the services of a university/consultancy organization/firm to develop text content for Heritage sites, buildings and monuments in Polonnaruwa and Galle Districts.

ICTA now invites Expressions of Interest (Eol) from eligible universities, consultancy organizations/firms to express their interest for this assignment. EoI must include the requested information as specified in the respective 'Ea Information Form' along with documentary evidence in support of core business and years in business, Financial, business and administrative strength/standing, qualifications in the field of the assignment, experience in carrying out assignments of a similar nature and complexity, technical and managerial organization of the firm, technical capabilities and appropriate skills of key staff of the organization, availability of facilities and other relevant information.

A Consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the Government Guidelines- Selection and Employment of the Consultant will be based on Least Cost Selection. All interested parties are informed that all documents shall be issued in English language.
