The Power Grid Company of Bangladesh Limited (PGCB).(‘the Employer”) invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for Design. Supply. Erection. Testing & Commissioning of New 132/11 kV Air Insulated Switchgear (AIS) Substations At Ruppur and Extension of Existing 132 kV Bays at lshurdi 230/132kv Substation on Turnkey Basis as defined in the bidding document (hereinafter referred to as ‘the Works“). The Works under these turnkey contracts shall be completed within 18 months from the effective date. International Competitive Bidding will be conducted in accordance with Single~Stage: Two Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all bidders from eligible source countries.

Bidding Document is also available at PGCB website i.e. http://www.pgcb.org.bd. However the web version of the bidding document is for information purpose only. In case of any discrepancy between the documents downloaded by the prospective bidder and the Bid Documents (hard copy) of PGCB. the later shall prevail.

A complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by interested eligible bidders on submission of a written application to the Company Secretary. PGCB at the above address and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of USD 150.00 (United States Dollar one hundred fifty only) or Tk. 12,000.00 (Taka twelve thousand only) in the form of Pay Order! Demand Draft in favour of the Power Grid Company of Bangladesh Limited. The Bidding Document may be sent through a courier for an additional fee of BD Tk. 500.00 (local delivery) or USS 100.00 (International delivery) in the form of Pay Order/ Demand Draft in favour of Power Grid Company of Bangladesh Limited.

The deadline for submission of the Bid is 11:00 am Bangladesh Standard Tlme (BST) on 07 March. 2016. The technical bid will be opened at 11:05 am BST on 07 March. 2016 at the address mentioned above in the presence of bidders' representatives who choose to attend.
