Greenland Fedha ltd (GFl) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Kenya Tea Development Agency Holdings ltd. The company’s core business is to provide financial services to the low and middle income sector at the market within the tea sector, small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and to the wider market. Since its inception, is has been operating as a non-deposit taking Micro Finance Institution (MFI).
To achieve its mandate of providing a variety of affordable financial services, GFl intends to raise private equity through the private equity placement to enable the expansion.
The Objective of this request for proposal (REFERENCE : KTDA/185/2015) is to identify the lead Transaction Advisor in undertaking the private equity placement to increase equity for the company and refine the shareholding structure for the purpose of being licensed as a microfinance bank. Interested eligible firms may obtain the request for Proposal documents from the procurement office, on first floor KTDA Farmers Building, Moi Avenue, Nairobi during normal working hours, upon payment of the non refundable registration fee of Kenya Shillings: 3,000. Completed proposal documents should be deposited in the Tender Box at the reception on Ground floor, KTDA Farmers Building, Moi Avenue Nairobi, so as to be received not later than 2^Nd February 2016 at 9:00 AM local time. The submitted proposals will be opened on the same day.
KTDA is not obliged to accept any proposal or give reasons thereof. KTDA's decision on the prequalification process shall be final and only firms prequalified shall be invited to submit financial bids.
