The
Ministry of Education, Science and Technology has received financing
from the World Bank toward the cost of the Kenya GPE Primary Education
Development (PRIEDE) Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds
for consulting services. Tendersontime, a leading business information

The consulting services (“the Services")
which is primarily on providing technical advice to the Project
Coordination Unit and support implementation of Early Grade Mathematics
(EGM) and develop an implementation strategy for sustaining innovative
numeracy methodologies in primary education. The technical advisor will
be expected to develop capacity of the EGM Technical Team on design and
implementation of the EGM activities. He/she will also be expected to
develop, in close consultation with key stakeholders, an implementation
strategy for sustaining numeracy methodologies.The assignment is a
3-year contract beginning February 2016,primary location being Nairobi
but with regular travels to EGM implementation sites in the
Counties,Sub-Counties and Zones.
The Ministry now invites eligible
individuals (”Consultants") to indicate their interest in providing the
Services. Interested Consultants should provide information
demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant
experience to perform the Services. The shortlisting criteria are:
experience of working in large-scale projects! programmes aimed at
improving learning outcomes. Firms who may wish to propose individual
consultants are advised that only the experience and qualifications of
the individuals proposed shall be used in the selection process and not
their corporate experience and if considered the contract will be signed
directly with the proposed individual and not the firm.

policy on conflict of interest.
