Komati Basin Water Authority (KOBWA) has issued an invitation to tender from consultancy firms to conduct a high level Gap Analysis on the policies and procedures of KOBWA. Tendersontime, a leading business information provider is the first agency to report this development.
The Komati Basin Water Authority (KOBWA) is an entity representing the Republic of South Africa and the Kingdom of Swaziland and is established under a treaty between the two. KOBWA is responsible for the design, construction, Operation and maintenance of Maguga Darn in Swaziland and Driekoppies Dam in South Africa together with their supporting infrastructure. KOBWA Operates from its Head Office at Maguga Darn near Pigg's Peak in Swaziland and has a Water Management office at Driekoppies Darn near Schoemansdal in South Africa.
The qualification criteria includes that the consultants and professionals must be accredited by
the institute of Internal Auditors. The scope of services includes and is not limited to conduct a high level gap analysis on K’OBWA policies and procedures and to check what KOBWA has, against laws and regulations applicable to the organisation, best business practice, ti identify and note the gaps. It will then have to recommend improvements and ways to bridge and close the identified gaps.
Documents detailing the terms of reference are available from the l2th January 2016 between 07.30 hours and 16.00 hours at either Driekoppies Dam or Maguga Dam reception desks upon payment of a non-refundable fee of RIE 500.00. The deadline for the submission of proposals is before 12.00 hours on 26th January 2016 by hand delivery and the bidders will have to sign a tender registration at this time. E submissions are not allowed and will be automatically disqualified.
KOBWA does not bind itself to accepting the lowest or any tender, and, may withdraw all the proposals without furnishing any reasons.
