Haya Water awarded contracts award worth OMR38 million for the third and fourth package of the Amerat Water Reuse Project on Monday.
The contract signing ceremony took place at the Muscat Municipality building.
The contracts involves installation of networks for water treatment in the north and eastern areas of Amerat
.
The chairman of Muscat Municipality, Eng
Mohsen bin Mohammed al Sheikh and chairman of Haya Water Board signed
the contracts in the presence of directors general of the executing
companies.
Eng Hussain bin Hassan Abdul Hussain, CEO of Haya Water was also present at the signing ceremony.
The Consolidated Contractors Company,
Oman was assigned with the northern area project. The OMR16.2 million
project is likely to be completed by October 2017 and covers laying of a
62.km of wastewater pipeline, installation of 13.35km treated
waterlines and 230.4km of fibre-optic channels, 70km of side pipelines,
