Petrofac wins $700 million oil deal in Kuwait

Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) awarded Petrofac, the international oil and gas contracting specialist a $700 million oil contract award in Kuwait.

The scope of works involves the engineering, procurement, construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning of KOC’s GC29 gathering centre, the project is likely to be completed over a time span of three years.

GC29 will be capable of producing up to 100,000 barrels of oil per day, with associated gas and water facilities is one of three gathering centres being constructed, to support KOC’s plans to boost and maintain oil production over the next five years.
