Petrofac secures $500 million Malaysian RAPID refinery contract

Malaysia’s national oil and gas company, Petroliam Nasional Berhad (Petronas) group’s subsidiary PRPC Refinery and Cracker Sdn. Bhd. has awarded Petrofac, an engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (EPCC) contract award worth $500 million for a refinery package in Petronas’ Refinery and Petrochemicals Integrated Development (RAPID) project in Pengerang, Johor, Malaysia.
