The Necessity of Permanent Commission for the Navy Officers as Prasanna Edayilliam Says
Prasanna Edayilliam said, “I have not thrown away my uniform, I have not gained weight. I am fit to join back.” It is hoped by this 43 years old lady that the Navy is hearing.

On 4th September, the Delhi High Court told that permanent commissions should be provided to those women who are serving in the Navy after completing their short other service stints. After getting retirement seven years ago, Edayilliam is again ready to join back. The Navy has been joined by Edayilliam in the post of a service commission officer in the branch of Air Traffic Control or ATC in the year of 1994. She says, “I always loved the Navy. I either wanted to be a Navy officer or to marry one.
