The Work of Transferring Government Schools into Smart One has started

On Wednesday, it was declared by Poonam Sharma, who is the Mayor of Chandigarh, that seven government primary schools will be soon converted into smart schools like other government schools in Chandigarh. Two of these schools are visited by the mayor on Wednesday for inspection. These schools are GPS at Buterla Village and Government Primary School at Sector 12. She was accompanied by the Block Education officer, Joginder Singh and the contract award related officers of MC. The UT Administration is requested to by Sharma for transferring more schools under the civic body.
