The Ministry of Trade and Industry of the Republic of Rwanda has issued an International Open Tender to hire a Consultancy firm for providing technical assistance to the selected anchor companies in Rwanda for domestic market recapturing. The cost of hiring is to be met with the funds received from the Govt. of Rwanda through its ordinary budget. Rwanda, over the years has been consistently having an external trade deficit which has resulted in a negative balance of payment (BOP) situation. Agricultural activity is subsidized heavily, services activities are dominated by trade, and the industrial sector is small.
