Maternal, Newborn and Child Health (MNCH) Services Component of
USAID/Pakistan's Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Program also known as
the Maternal and Child Health Integrated Program (MCHIP) - is led by
Jhpiego and implemented by lntemational, local and private partners.

Jhpiego-MCHIP seeks Expression of Interest from consultancy firms to conduct an indepth assessment of nutrition services followed by development of IEC Tool.
The assessment will be based on the following:
The content and quality of one-on-one
counselling for Iron Folic Acid (IFA) supplements. maternal diet and
breastfeeding at different pornts of contact with women (ANC, delivery
and postnatal).
Functioning of the supply chain and logistics for the provision of iron-folic acid (lFA) supplements.
Acceptance and use of lFA supplements.
This assessment Will be conducted in
three (03) districts of Sindh is, from lower Sindh, desert belt and
upper Sindh. It will be focused on selected number of public and private
health tacilities and villages. The lEC tool vnll be developed based on
findings of the assessment.
