The objective of the project is to undertake Water Transportation in the Delhi stretch of Yamuna River (i.e. for 16 km upstream of Wazirabad Barrage upto Fatehpur Jat. II is conceived as an integrated development project combining several functions of the river including fairway development, last mile connectivity and suitable vessel design.
