Pollutants On Human Health In Critically Polluted Area (Angul-Talcher) In Odisha



The State Pollution Control Board, Odisha proposes to carry out an Epidemiological Study for Assessment of Effect of Pollutants (Air, Water& Soil/ Ground water) on Human Health in Critically Polluted Area (Angul-Talcher) in Odisha. Reputed Environmental & Occupational Health Consulting Firms /Clinical Establishments working in the areas of Environment & Occupational Health/ related Research Institutions (here in after the firms) are requested to Submit Expression of Interest (EOI)for carrying out the proposed study for the Angul-Talcher CPA. The EOI shall indicate their interest in carrying out the Epidemiological Study.
Interested firms may submit the Expression of Interest (EOI) by providing required information as per the prescribed format, which is downloadable from the OSPCB Website.
The EOI filled in as per the prescribed format and supported with relevant documents must reach the Office of Member Secretary, State Pollution Control Board, Odisha on or before 21.10.2016, at 5:00PM. The envelope must be clearly superscripted as 'EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR 'Epidemiological Study for Assessment of Effect of Pollutants on Human Health in Critically Polluted Area (Angul-Taicher) in Odisha." The name and address of the firm should also be clearly mentioned on the envelope. The EOl shall be submitted through Registered Post I Speed Post / courier. But the authority shall not be held responsible for any postal delay for non-receipt of EOl within scheduled date and time.
Interested firms are advised to visit the site before submission of EOI. Once EOI received; it will be presumed that the institute has visited the site and collected relevant information for submission of his EOI.
The SPCB reserves t he right to reject any or all EOls without assigning any reasons thereof.
