The Chairman, Departmental Procurement Committee, on behalf of the Postgraduate Institute of Archaeology, invites sealed bids from reputed Security Firms registered with the Ministry of Defence, and bearing a valid Annual License for the provision of Security Services, up to 3.00 p.m. on 4th November 2016. Bids received will be opened soon after the closing of bids on 4th November 2016 at the Board Room of the Postgraduate Institute of Archaeology, 407. Bauddhaloka Mawatha, Colombo 07. Bidders or their representatives are allowed to be present at the time of opening of bids.

Bidding documents will be issued to each bidder on payment of a non-refundable fee of Rs. 2,000/- (two thousand only). Payment should be made in cash to the Shroff, Postgraduate Institute of Archaeology.

Bidding documents to be purchased from 14th October 2016 to 3rd November 2016 between 9.30 a.m. and 3.00 p.m. on working days from the office of the Senior Assistant Registrar/General Administration, Postgraduate Institute of Archaeology, by producing the official receipt obtained for the non-refundable fee of Rs. 2.000/-.

A refundable fee of Rs. 15.000/- (fifteen thousand rupees only) to be paid in cash to the Shroff, Postgraduate Institute of Archaeology as Bid Security. All bids should be accompanied with the official receipt for the payment of Bid Security.

Bids should be sent by registered post in sealed covers addressed to the Chairman, Departmental Procurement Committee, Postgraduate Institute of Archaeology, 407, Bauddhaloka Mawatha, Colombo 07 or placed in the Tender Box kept in the Office of the Senior Assistant Registrar/General Administration, Postgraduate Institute of Archaeology.
