1. The Chairman, Departmental Procurement Committee, on behalf of the Road Development Authority (RDA), invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the works in EOM&M Division described below:-

2. Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding Procedure.

3. To be eligible for contract award, the successful bidder shall be currently registered with the Construction Industry Development Authority (CIDA) for Building / Highway in C7 grade or higher grade.

4. Interested bidders may obtain further information from the following office after inspecting the bidding documents, during office hours.

a. Director (EOM & M), Road Development Authority, Kahatagahahena, Walgama, Bandaragama.

5. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English language shall be purchased by interested bidders on submission of a written application to the Director, Expressway Operation, Maintenance & Management Division. Road Development Authority, Kahatagahahena, Walgama, Bandaragama from 10.10.2016 until 25.10.2016 from 09.00 hrs to 15.00 hrs upon payment of a non refundable fee of Rs. 1650.00 (Inclusive of  AT) for each contract.

6. Bids shall be delivered in duplicate to the Director, Expressway Operation, Maintenance & Management Division. Road Development Authority, Kahatagahahena, Walgama, Bandaragama on or before 14.00 hrs on 26.10.2016. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened soon after the closing in the presence of the bidders' representatives who choose to attend.

7. Bid Validity period shall be until 25.01.2017.

8. Each Bid shall be accompanied by a Bid-Security. Bid Security shall be valid until 22.02.2017.

9. The Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at 10.00 hrs on 18.10.2016 at the office of the Director, Expressway Operation, Maintenance & Management Division, Road Development Authority, Kahatagahahena, Walgama, Bandaragama.
