a)Procurement of Electrical Line Hardware Materials, Lots 1 & 2.

b)Procurement of Single Phase Transformers, Lots 1 & 2.

c)Procurement of Conductors Lots 1 & 2.

Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) process, specified in the Procurement Act 2003 and is open to all bidders.

Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Ministry of Communities, Central Housing & Planning Authority; Projects Department (227-8886, 226-1809 or 226-2265) and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address below, from 08:30hrs — 15:30hrs.

A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidden from the Central Housing and Planning Authority,

Projects Department, 41 Brickdam and United Nations Place, Stabroek, Georgetown from Monday 3" October, 2016. The non - refundable amount for a tender document is Ten Thousand Guyana Dollars (G YD$10,000.00 for a hardcopy). The method of payment shall be cash.

Qualification requirements include: Submission of Bid Security completed and signed Form of Tender, valid NIS & GRA compliances, list of completed contracts, list of equipment and personnel available for the works. A margin of preference for national contractors/JVCAs shall not be applied.

• In addition to the requirements above, bidders must submit evidence of storage facilities and their locations. Storage facilities will be subject to verification, inspection and approval.

All bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Security of USD 2,500 or GYD 550,000.

A pre-bid meeting will be convened on Friday October 21"2016 at 10:00 hours in the Board Room of the Central Housing and Planning Authority.

The delivery period for the Electrical Materials mentioned above (a, b and c) is 180days.

Envelopes shall:

i.Contain the original and one copy of the tender document

ii.Clearly indicate the name of the contract

iii.Bear the warning "DO NOT OPEN BEFORE 09:00 HOURS ON TUESDAY,15th NOVEMBER, 2016.

Bids must be delivered to the Chairman, National Procurement and Tender Administration Board, Ministry of Finance (North Eastern It il ing), Main and Urquhart Street, Kingston, Georgetown, on orbefore 09:00 HRS ON TUESDAY,15th NOVEMBER 2016.

Electronic bidding shall not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened physically at 09:00 hrs in the presence of the bidders' representatives who choose to attend.

Bidders are allowed to submit bids for any or all lots.

Bidders can only be awarded a single lot from each procurement type (a, b and c).

However, bidders will be considered for award of contract for a single lot from each procurement type (a, b and c), provided that they have the capacity (financial resources, evidence of storage capacity and inventory control systems) to supply more than one lot simultaneously.
