Manager of X-ray/Surface Analysis Business Unit at SHIMADZU Corporation
entered a frame agreement about the delivery of detectors for the x-ray
diffraction systems of SHIMADZU.
The signing of the delivery contract award for
detectors of SHIMADZU’s x-ray diffraction systems is the result of the
eminent reputation of DECTRIS in the x-ray diffraction market.
The detector includes 1280 channels,
faster analysis of XRD customers can be realized from this point for
several applications, like the analysis of catalyst, quality control of
chemical materials consisting pharmaceutical. SHIMADZU designed the
partner program for handling this detector and succeeded to expand the
performance of the detectors says, Hiroaki Furukawa, Product Manager for
X-ray products at Shimadzu.
DECTRIS’s experience in the synchrotron
field permits highly stable and sensitive detectors for the laboratory
market. The customers will be very satisfied from the systems from
SHIMADZU including such high performance detectors and x-ray
