DECTRIS enters contract with SHIMADZU for X-ray Diffraction Systems
Clemens Schulze-Briese, CSO at DECTRIS Ltd. and Hiroyuki Murakita, General Manager of X-ray/Surface Analysis Business Unit at SHIMADZU Corporation entered a frame agreement about the delivery of detectors for the x-ray diffraction systems of SHIMADZU.
The signing of the delivery contract award for detectors of SHIMADZU’s x-ray diffraction systems is the result of the eminent reputation of DECTRIS in the x-ray diffraction market.
The detector includes 1280 channels, faster analysis of XRD customers can be realized from this point for several applications, like the analysis of catalyst, quality control of chemical materials consisting pharmaceutical. SHIMADZU designed the partner program for handling this detector and succeeded to expand the performance of the detectors says, Hiroaki Furukawa, Product Manager for X-ray products at Shimadzu.
DECTRIS’s experience in the synchrotron field permits highly stable and sensitive detectors for the laboratory market. The customers will be very satisfied from the systems from SHIMADZU including such high performance detectors and x-ray diffractometer says, Clemens Schulze-Briese.
The Swiss Economic Award 2010 was awarded to DECTRIS in the High-Tech Biotech category; it is the most esteemed prize for start-up firms in Switzerland.Read complete story at http://www.tendersontime.com/blog-detail/dectris-enters-contract-shimadzu-x-ray-diffraction-systems-27.php
