Agilex,
a leading provider of mission and technology solutions to the federal
government, announced today that it was contract awarded a one year $16.1 million
competitive contract by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to
develop and implement VA’s enterprise Web and Mobile Application Image
Viewing Solution. Agilex will build upon Calgary Scientific’s
ResolutionMD® enterprise image-viewer to facilitate VA clinicians
nationwide with secure, on-demand access to radiological images
throughout a variety of mobile and desktop devices.
Clinicians will be adept to use the visualization and workflow tools on smartphones, tablets and desktops.
The solution will help VA improve care
by accelerating and improving diagnosis and treatment, strengthening
collaboration, and help cut costs. Images will be more widely and easily
accessible.
The telehealth options will be
intensified and expanded through Agilex’s new solution. Facilitating a
chance in the traditional health care model, with the use of mHealth
technologies to connect patients and health care other services anywhere, by
exercising this same model for clinicians, diagnostic images will turn
into more easily accessible, improving care quality and clinician
efficiency, thus making VA a leader in mHealth technologies, says, Dr.
Wyatt Smith, vice president of health care strategies for Agilex.
FDA showed an approval to the
ResolutionMD, which shall be directly, unified with the VA mobile
framework and the VistA clinical systems.Read complete story at http://www.tendersontime.com/blog-detail/vawards-161-million-contract-mobile-radiology-viewingpps-32.php
