Wastewater facility project worth US$125m at Qatargas LNG plant
Kentz Corporation Limited, the holding company of the Kentz Engineering and Construction Group, has been contract awarded by Qatargas Operating Company Limited ("Qatargas") for the turnkey operation package of a new wastewater facility located at the LNG Plant, Ras Laffan Industrial City, Qatar.
The project costs around US$125m, the scope of work involves Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning (EPICC) services to deliver wastewater reprocessing and reduction facilities to four LNG trains. All the project activities will be undertaken and executed through Kentz's Engineering and Projects (E&P) Business Unit. Total strength of approximately 440 staff and field personnel will be engaged as the maximum workforce, aiming the project completion scheduled in 2016.
