MCLAUGHLIN & Harvey receives  £65m construction contract
The Newtownabbey-based company MCLAUGHLIN & Harvey gets £65 million construction contract award for the Omagh Enhanced Local Hospital at the Tyrone and Fermanagh Hospital site, work will commence soon within weeks and the project should be done over two year duration. 

The two storeys building, 23,000m2 (approx) will comprise accommodation for other services presently delivered from Omagh Health Centre, Tyrone County Hospital and the community mental health unit at Dergmoney House. The Ground floor will occupy services such as GP practices, cardiac assessment, urgent care and treatment, renal dialysis, out-patients, special children’s department, X-ray and imaging. The first floor service profile will consist of day case theatres, allied health professionals therapy centre, community dental, the community mental health team, special centre for women’s health care, in-patient rehabilitation, recovery and palliative care services undertaken from single en-suite rooms.
