Elbit Systems bags $20 million Philippines Armed Forces contract

Elbit Systems Ltd. announced that it was awarded a contract award worth $20 million for the supply of upgraded armoured personnel carriers (APCs) to the Philippines Armed Forces. The upgrade will consist of 25mm unmanned turrets, 12.7 mm remote controlled weapon stations and fire control systems for 90 mm turrets. The APCs will be supplied over a period of one-year.

The contract is the first one awarded to Elbit Systems in the Philippines leading into an important breakthrough.
