Keolis start operations over $2.68 billion commuter rail network

The operations begins on the 610km commuter rail network around Boston by Keolis Commuter Services on July 1 under a $2.68 billion, eight year contract awarded by Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) in January.

With weekday travellers of around 128,000, the 14 line 132 station network ranks sixth among the busiest commuter rail network in the United States.
