The
construction contract award of £3.9 million for the new primary school in the
north of the county has been awarded to ISG by Dorset County Council.
ISG would be subjected for delivering the facility on the outskirts of the village in Pimperne, as per the local authority.
The 13,000 sq ft school would lie on a 4.5-acre site, which has been acquired by the council.
Apart from the main classrooms, the project also incorporates a staff room, a multi-use hall, administrative offices, a sports pitch, a multi-use games facility, habitat areas and informal outdoor play area.
The Pimperne primary school serves a large habitat area with a community that has grown remarkably since the three-classroom school was first inaugurated in 1908.
